Experiences

Kvenvikmoen in summer:

The largest attraction is just outside the front door, nature itself. There are several walkingtracks behind the hotel, for shorter or longer hikes. It will take you past several lakes where you can fish or swim, rent canoes or just sit and relax. It will take you through the forest with exciting bird and wildlife and complete stillness.

In addition there is also Alta Golf Park surrounding the hotel. The Golf Park houses the first and only 9-hole golfcourse in Alta, and it is one of the northernmost golfcourses in the world. For more information about the golfcourse, its training facilities and the "mini golfcourse" for the whole family contact us or the golf park.

Winter:

Why not try cross country skiing or snow shoeing either along prepared tracks or with a guide through the forest.
We can help you arrange dogsledding with huskies, one of the most spectacular activities you can try in Alta during the winter.

We also stronly recommend visiting the Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel, you can choose to just visit or spend a night

Ask us for additional information and how to book the different activities or go to the tourist information directly at www.northadventure.no or www.visitalta.no
